there’s a grizzy upstairs. i’m going to go two weeks without the necessities of life. my face is swollen. i’m starving. time to go back to sleep and start this day over.
weird dreams
I’m usually the type of person to have bizarre dreams (when I remember them) but the last two nights in a row take the cake. BOTH were about a certain someone trying to assasinate me. The first one was a party where he kept sneaking up to a table to vandalize it….but then when I caught him he pulled a gun out so I had to wrestle him the ground for it.

happy new year.
So, today is New Year’s Eve. I remembered something random:
One day, during spring break, a homeless man walked up to my little brother (who was still in high school at the time), put his arm around him, and starting singing the theme from Shaft. This was in the Food Lion parking lot in five points. I gave him five dollars for his performance.

Tonight we watched fireworks on the beach. The city of Carolina Beach does this every Thursday night every summer. I used to watch it somewhat often with my parents when they first moved here 2 years ago. I am starting to list things in my mind that I will miss about the south when I experience them. Great Migration
I’m moving to New Hampshire, so to put off packing, I’m blogging.
I’ve lived in South Carolina since 1990 so I’m welcoming the change, despite the miserable winters ahead of me. My boyfriend, Kevin, has a job up thurr so I’m ready to spend more time with him, too. I will miss South Carolina, but not too much. :)
